Shaikha Hessa bint Salman Al Khalifa Award for Youth Voluntary Work

 

 

In tribute to late Shaikha Hessa bint Salman Al Khalifa and her role in supporting charity, social and voluntary work as well as their civil institutions, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Royal Order 15 for the year 2011 to establish the Award of Shaikha Hessa bint Salman Al Khalifa for Youth Voluntary Work. The Award is one of the important initiatives in the field of supporting and consolidating the spirit of voluntary work among youth in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as being a realistic reflection of reform program pillars. It is granted every 2 years for the best Bahraini youth voluntary youth.

 

 

Goals of the Award:

 

  • Represent and consolidate the culture of voluntary work among youth as well as its moral value as national and humanitarian obligation and its positive results on others' lives.

  • Consolidate and develop the role of individuals and groups in achieving accomplishment, innovation and sustainability of voluntary work projects.

  • Consolidate the spirit of fair competition among youth in the field of voluntary work.

  • Represent youth initiatives in implementing unique projects aim at serving society.
