SCW holds virtual meeting on cloud computing services

The Supreme Council for Women (SCW) held a virtual meeting, in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) on cloud computing services.

The event, held within the National Guidance Programme for Bahraini Women, aims to inform the programme beneficiaries about ways to ensure that emerging, small and medium enterprises can benefit from cloud computing services.

The online meeting highlighted ways to take advantage of the digital transformation technology to enable companies, micro, and small enterprises to develop their efficiency of their operations, reduce costs, increase market value and improve profitability using cloud computing.

Cloud computing enables companies to store and archive their data in a way that ensures their recovery in case of emergency or technical malfunction. It also provides an integrated high-level security system that reduces gaps in the technical environment.

The SCW will continue holding meetings, within the second edition of the National Guidance Programme for Bahraini Women, to cope with the requirements of the current and coming phases, and the needs of the labour market during the pandemic. It aims to provide female retirees, jobseekers, graduates and entrepreneurs with the latest information and developments through interactive workshops that present the most important theoretical and professional knowledge, skills and experiences in light of the current circumstances.
