The Bahraini Female Entrepreneur Honour Seal Committee held its second virtual meeting, under the chairmanship of the Member of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), HH Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa.

HH Shaikha Hessa appreciated all efforts being made to enrich the Bahraini Female Entrepreneur Honour Seal initiative to support and motivate young Bahraini women in the field of entrepreneurship, develop their creativity and innovation and increase their contributions to economic affairs.

The committee reviewed the executive procedures since the launch of the fourth session in November 2021 and the opening of the nomination process until March 2022, highlighting the remarkable development and diversity in the number of participations that exceeded the previous three sessions, including several economic activities, especially those related to technology and digital platforms.

The meeting discussed the mechanism for evaluating the nominated works, and the upcoming work plan, which will include field visits to the best projects that achieved the highest grades in the first phase, in preparation for the approval of the final grades and the announcement of the winning projects.

The "Bahraini Female Entrepreneur Honour Seal” initiative was launched in 2011 to encourage, support and motivate young Bahraini females in entrepreneurship and honour their contribution to creating a supportive economic environment.
