Dr. Kalpana Sankar's selection was owing to her two decade long, diverse, global experience in women's empowerment. Hope this will be fine. Regards

Evans : The Award brought a very special joy as a recognition of the work we have done for women in very isolated areas and in the meantime the Award also implanted a big curiosity on me to learn about Bahrain and its people. And meeting so many people at the award ceremony and the reception, it is like another prize to learn about the country so much.

It is a beautiful way to bring countries together by this global award! I am very thankful to Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim al-Khalifa for setting the award!
