Despite
the ongoing efforts to ensure the sustainability of women's advancement in
political action and decision-making, and what is called for and confirmed by
many international conferences, reports and studies related to the promotion of
women's participation in politics, legislation and decision-making; however the
levels of women's participation in this important field remain far from
achieving what is expected in comparison to the efforts made in reality!

Objectives
Discuss the nature of the challenges that women still face in the field of political action and decision-making positions.
Discuss the ways to sustain women's participation and support women leaders in state authorities (legislative, judicial and executive).
Propose new ways to strengthen development tools to ensure equitable participation with a particular focus on the role of national policies, budgets, human resources strategies, projects, programs, etc.
Highlight the role of women in leadership and decision-making at all levels, including during peace negotiations and in emergency humanitarian situations.
Evaluate the impact of temporary measures and assess their effectiveness and role in cultural change and overcoming stereotypes.
Highlighting the role of societal awareness in the implementation of social justice and its impact on the status of women in societies, with special emphasis on their participation and presence in decision-making positions.
