The
interest in solving the problem of marginalization of the role of women and the
low participation with men in the development started since 1975. Later,
international conferences were held about women to consolidate that approach
and shed light on development issues related to women and their role. Those
conferences discussed different ways of integrating women in development in its
comprehensive concept which emphasizes the human dimension in the framework of
concepts related to the definition of development.
The
interest of adopting concepts of man and woman’s roles emerged and developed
from considering the role of woman in development to considering her as a
fundamental force that is able to change and develop to achieve progress.
