Gender Balance Center




The Supreme Council for Women was keen  to find useful tools to frame the supporting efforts in order to achieve gender balance in all fields through launching the National Model of Gender Balance as it is considered a national-work guide to policy-makers, regulators of the national strategies, legislators and implementers of programs and plans. The general frame ensures that those parties' work have a real and sustainable integration of the Bahraini women in the development process. Also, it seeks to achieve the balance in allocating the resources while narrowing and closing any gaps that affect achieving gender balance on local level. Moreover, it determines roles and responsibilities of different fields in the concept of national responsibility in order to achieve the sustainable effect of integrating women's needs and gender balance. The model consists of five aspects:
