International Agreements, Treaties and Conventions:
The Kingdom of Bahrain abides by its responsibilities to implement policies relating to women's affairs as stipulated in international agreements, treaties and conventions and to eliminate all forms of discrimination against them. The Supreme Council for Women, being the national body concerned with women's issues, represents Bahraini women in Arab and International forums and organizations concerned with women's affairs and signs cooperation agreements and joint programs with them, by monitoring the of laws, regulations, resolutions and international conventions relating to women to ensure their proper implementation nationally. The Council also works in collaboration with relevant international organizations by preparing periodic follow-up reports on progress made in support of women.

International Partnerships
The Supreme Council for Women is mandated to represent Bahraini women in regional and international forums and organizations concerned with women's affairs and to enter into cooperation agreements and joint programs with them. The Council establishes strategic partnerships at the regional and international levels with institutions, bodies and organizations concerned with women by signing joint agreements and memoranda of cooperation that enable all parties to benefit from best practices that support the status and advancement of women. These partnerships have resulted in a range of joint programs and initiatives as well as participation in regional and international events and meetings.
