The Women's Information Center is concerned with following up on the indicators of the National Plan, National Strategies, and the programs and projects emanating from them, both at the level of the Council's Secretariat and strategic The Center also collects information and data and prepares national and international studies, reports, and working papers on Bahraini women in various fields.
The Center oversees the documentation process to collect information, data, and studies on women through the National Observatory and the National Gender Balance Report. The Council is keen to apply knowledge management methodologies as the Center includes a specialized library to document everything related to Bahraini women and women in general at the regional and international levels. The library makes its holdings available to all and serves as a major reference for researchers and those interested in women's issues.
The Women's Information Center is responsible for:
- Monitoring the contributions of Bahraini women and measuring their participation in public life in various fields, by following up on the indicators of the national plan, national strategies, and the programs and projects emanating from them, both at the level of the General Secretariat of the Council and with strategic partners.
- Supplying the National Observatory of Gender Balance indicators with learning and publishing resources, allowing for the measurement of national, regional, and international competitiveness rates, which helps to bridge gaps.
- Preparation of the National Gender Balance Report, which allows for the follow-up of gender balance policies, both at the level of the performance of State institutions and at the level of qualitative areas in cooperation with the Gender Balance Center.
- Preparation of studies, research and working papers on the social, economic and political issues of Bahraini women.
- Follow-up on the implementation of contractual studies and research, according to an approved timetable for each study.
- Follow-up on women-related reports issued at the national, regional and international levels and preparation of analytical statistical reports.
- Building and data feeding the Bahraini women's records system, an electronic knowledge system that promotes documentation of successful models of leadership positions and expertise in various development fields.
- Monitoring and documenting the biographies of the most prominent Bahraini figures and the influential events that marked important beginnings of Bahraini women.
- Preparing and analyzing surveys and questionnaires.
- Participate in the preparation and development of national surveys.
- Participate in the preparation of national and international reports and working papers related to women's issues.
- Receiving researchers, experts, and those interested in women's affairs.
- Cooperating with research and studies departments and specialized libraries, coordinating with other institutions, and exchanging knowledge, expertise and services.
- Contributing to issuing the Council's publications and disseminating new and important information.

Statistics and Information department
is responsible for collecting information, statistics, and data on women in all areas of development at the national and international levels to meet the requirements of the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women and the database of the Supreme Council for Women.
The department oversees the preparation of the national report on the measurement of gender balance in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in fulfillment of the mandate of the Supreme Council for Women to establish a documentation center to collect information and data on women and document their contributions in all areas to promote, and benefit from national experiences.

Studies, research, and library department
This department is concerned with conducting contractual studies and research, designing, and implementing high-quality questionnaires within a specific time frame to meet the requirements of the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women. The Secretariat's scientific and cognitive production process includes the preparation of studies, research, reports, questionnaires, and working papers for internal or external conferences, the review of national, regional, and international questionnaires and reports and the verification of the accuracy of data contained therein on Bahraini women.
The department manages the Supreme Council for Women's library, which in turn works to promote and disseminate knowledge and document everything related to the affairs of Bahraini women, and women at the Arab and international levels in general. Its holdings are available to all and are a main reference for researchers and those interested in women's affairs.
