Her Highness Shaikha Jawaher bint Abdullah bin Isa Al Khalifa, Consort of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, attended the opening of an art exhibition organised by the Children and Mothers Welfare Society, in collaboration with Bahrain Gallery, to mark Bahraini Women’s Day. The exhibition was held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW).

The exhibition, which will continue until 3 December celebrates the artwork of Bahraini female artists whose work reflects their individuality, creative expression, and innovative perspectives. The Exhibition highlights the accomplishments of Bahraini women and their artistic talents, in line with the 2025 Bahraini Women’s Day theme, "Bahraini Women: Distinction, Creativity, Innovation".

Her Highness Shaikha Jawaher bint Abdullah expressed her appreciation for Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim’s continued support for initiatives that highlight the pioneering role of women in Bahraini society.

Her Highness noted that events like this exhibition reflect the active contributions of Bahraini women to the Kingdom’s cultural and artistic landscape, expressing her pride in the high standard of artwork showcased.

HH Shaikha Jawaher bint Abdullah affirmed that the vibrant artistic movement witnessed in Bahrain today reflects the Kingdom’s support for women, culture, and the arts, noting that Bahrain continues to serve as an incubator for female talent and creativity, which form an integral part of the Kingdom’s artistic identity.

Her Highness added that Bahraini Women’s Day represents an important annual occasion to showcase the achievements of Bahraini women, whose contributions continue to grow, emphasising that exhibitions such as this highlight their distinguished role across creative fields.

For her part, Shaikha Hind bint Salman Al Khalifa, President of the Children and Mothers Welfare Society, noted that Bahraini Women’s Day is a valued national occasion, honouring the legacy of women’s achievements under the steadfast support of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, a leading advocate for their empowerment across all fields.

Shaikha Hind bint Salman added that the Society was pleased to collaborate with Bahrain Gallery in hosting an exhibition that embodies the spirit of creativity and innovation among Bahraini women and reflects their strong presence in the Kingdom’s cultural and artistic scene.

The President of the Children and Mothers Welfare Society noted that this exhibition is not merely a display of visual art, but a vibrant canvas expressing the intellectual and aesthetic vision of Bahraini women, embracing modernity while remaining rooted in Bahrain’s authentic identity.

Shaikha Hind bint Salman highlighted that the artworks reflect the journey of Bahraini women, blending heritage with contemporary visions. She expressed her gratitude to all participating artists, affirming that they are a source of pride and inspiration for every Bahraini woman.
