HM King, HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim exchange congratulations on Bahraini Women’s Day
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), on the occasion of Bahraini Women’s Day 2025, celebrated this year under the theme "Bahraini Women: Distinction, Creativity, Innovation".
HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim highlighted that the national celebration of this day reflects His Majesty the King’s vision and belief in the role of women as key partners in nation-building and advancing the Kingdom’s comprehensive development goals.
HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim further noted that the international and regional recognition attained by Bahraini women is a direct outcome of His Majesty’s unwavering support, which has empowered them to excel and innovate.
HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim also emphasised that the Supreme Council for Women, guided by His Majesty’s vision and patronage, remains steadfast in realising initiatives aimed at empowering women, enhancing their status, showcasing their accomplishments, and ensuring their active engagement across all national development sectors, thereby contributing to the sustainable progress and prosperity of the Kingdom.
In response, His Majesty the King sent a cable of thanks to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim, extending his congratulations on Bahraini Women’s Day, observed annually on December 1.
His Majesty the King expressed appreciation for HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim’s dedicated efforts and those of the Supreme Council for Women in elevating the status of Bahraini women and empowering them to contribute across all fields of the Kingdom’s development.
Additionally, His Majesty the King further commended the Council’s achievements and the distinguished efforts and commitment of Bahraini women in political, economic, social, and cultural domains.
HM the King expressed confidence that Bahrain’s comprehensive development process will continue to create substantial opportunities to strengthen the role and status of Bahraini women in society.
