Rashid Equestrian Club holds season’s 18th race

The Rashid Equestrian & Horseracing Club (REHC) held its 18th race of the season. The event featured the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Cup, Bahrain Jewelry Center (BJC) Cup, Porsche Cup, and the Saks Fifth Avenue Cup on the REHC Track.
Present were His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, Vice-President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Deputy Chairman of REHC, High Committee and Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport; Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, SCW member; members of the royal family; representatives of sponsors; and equestrian sport enthusiasts.
The race marked the inaugural edition of the "Royaltea" evening, a special event organized by REHC, attended by members of SCW and media figures. The event's arrangements earned praise and admiration from attendees.
Winners were awarded with trophies, with Sheikha Hessa presenting the SCW award to Shaikh Hashim bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa; Alexandra von Director & Head of Retail for Saks Fifth Avenue, awarding the second round cup to Saeed Abdullah Almaddah; Hussain Shirazi, Director of Behbehani Brothers Company, awarding the Porsche Cup for the sixth round to Sayed Taleb Majeed, and the Porsche Cup for the sixth round to Shaikh Ebrahim Bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa; Ahmed Shirazi, Director of BJC, awarding the fifth round’s cup to Shaikh Isa bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa and the eighth round cup to Shaikh Hashim bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The race comprised eight rounds.
In the initial round covering a distance of 1,200 meters for maiden horses of purebred Arabian breed from Bahrain, known as Wahoo, "Tuwaisan 1844" emerged victorious. The horse, owned by Al Riffa stable, was ridden by jockey Abdulla Faisal, trained by Yousef Al Buainain. Following in second place was "Al Ma'anagy 1846" from Khalidiya stable, ridden by jockey Fawzi Nass, and trained by Hussein Makki. The third position was secured by "Al-Hamdany 1810" representing Victorious stable, with jockey Hassan Ali and trainer Youssef Taher. In the fourth spot was "Musannan M908" of Al Mohamediya Racing stable, with jockey Marcialis Jaures and Ali Abdulmajeed.
In the second round on the Saks Fifth Avenue Cup(local production) over a distance of 1400 meters, "Jbarah" from Al-Afoo Racing stable came first. It was ridden by jockey Soufiane Saadi and trained by Moh'd Hasan. Following in the second position was "Sakhr" from His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa's stable. Sakhr was ridden by Jockey Abdulla Faisal and trained by Haider Ebrahim. The third position was claimed by "Sinatra" from L&L Racing stable, guided by jockey Mia Childs and trained by A.M. Smith. "The Ghost Ship," from Victorious stable, secured the fourth spot with jockey Edinson Rodriguez and trainer A.M. Smith.
The third round, held for the SCW Cup in the Balance Race (imported) category over 1600 meters. "Wowzers" from Al Mohamediya Racing stable led by Jockey Jason Watson and the trainer Fawzi Nass, won first position. Following in second place was "Gumais" from Al Mohamediya stable, ridden by jockey Hector Crouch and trained by Fawzi Nass. "Bond's Boy" of Al Mohamediya Racing stable, with jockey Hussain Asghar and trainer Osama Hashim, secured the third position. The fourth spot went to "Time Step" from Al Adiyat Racing, ridden by jockey Lee Newman and trained by A.M. Smith.
In the fourth round, dedicated to novice horses (local production) covering a distance of 1800 meters, "Zafrani" from Al Mohamediya Racing stable emerged victorious. Zafrani was ridden by Jockey Fawzi Nass, and guided by trainer Hector Crouch. Following in second place was "Tharb" from the stable of King Abdullah Sami Nass, with jockey Husain Makki and trainer Fawzi Nass. The third position was secured by "Atlal" from Al Mohamediya stable, ridden by Jason Watson and trained by Ali Abdulmajeed. "Great Dane" from M and E Racing stable, guided by jockey Alan Smith and trained by Lee Newman, claimed the fourth position.
The fifth round, contested for the BJC Cup in the second category of Grade One horses (local production) over a straight 1200 meters, saw "Stylish" from Victorious stable triumph. Jockey Edinson Rodriguez, under the guidance of trainer Alan Smith, led Stylesh to victory. Following in second place was "Uptoyouordowntome" from M and E Racing stable, ridden by jockey Andrew Elliott and trained by Alan Smith. The third position was claimed by "Waqiaah" from Al-Afoo Racing stable, guided by jockey Soufiane Saadi and trained by Moh'd Hasan. "Blue Queen" from M and E Racing stable, ridden by jockey Mathieu Pelletan and trained by A.M. Smith, secured the fourth spot.
The sixth round, held for the Porsche Cars Cup in the Balanced Race (imported) category over 1200 meters was won by "Alabrar" from Al Sairafi Syndicate stable. Alabrar was ridden by Jockey Abdullah Faisal, guided by trainer Osama Hashim. Following in second place was "Rosa Mystica" from Al-Afoo Racing stable, ridden by Mathieu Pelletan and trained by Jaber Ramadhan. "Talha" of Al Mohamediya Racing stable, with jockey Hector Crouch and trainer Osama Hashim, secured the third position. The fourth spot went to "Nine Below Zero" from Al Serafi stable, guided by Soufiane Saadi and trained by Jaber Ramadan.
The seventh round, held for the Porsche Cars Cup in the third, fourth, and novice categories (imported) over 1000 meterswas won by "Swift Asset", owned by Shaikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, ridden by Jockey A.Rahim Jasim, and trained by Jaber Ramadhan. Following in second place was "Anann" from Al-Afoo Racing stable, ridden by jockey Soufiane Saadi and trained by Moh'd Hasan. "Fleet Admiral" owned by Abdullah Fawzi Nassstaple, with jockey Husain Makki and trainer Fawzi Nass, secured the third position. The fourth spot went to "Kaasib" from Al Mohamediya Racing stable, guided by Hector Crouch and trained by Ali Abdulmajeed.
In the eighth and final round, contested for the BJC Cup in the Balanced Race (imported) category over 2200 meters, " Elwasme" from Al Mohamediya Racing stable, ridden by Jockey Hector Crouch, under the guidance of trainer Ali Abdulmajeed, won first place. Following in second place was "Apres Dark" from HBR Racing stable, ridden by Ebrahim Nader and trained by Khalid Al Khatri. "We Could Be Heroes" from Al Mohamediya Racing stable, with jockey Jason Watson and trainer Fawzi Nass, secured the third position. The fourth spot went to "Brave The Storm" owned by Aqeel Hassan AbdulRahim staple, guided by A.Rahim Jasim, and trained by Jaber Ramadhan.
