SCW receives Royal Police Academy delegation

The General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) received a delegation from the Royal Police Academy comprising cadets enrolled in the academy’s bachelor’s programme, as part of ongoing cooperation aimed at familiarising students with the Council’s role and the contribution of Bahraini women to national development.
The visit included a documentary film showcasing the early role of Bahraini women in education and their pioneering contributions to national progress, followed by a presentation on the Council’s history, mandate, and the recently approved National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women (2025 – 2026).
The delegation was also briefed on key initiatives, including the Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Award for the Advancement of Bahraini Women, the Imtiyaz Initiative for Young Bahraini Entrepreneurs, the Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Salman Al Khalifa Award for Voluntary Youth Work, and activities such as Bahraini Women’s Day, in addition to the Council’s youth committee efforts.
The meeting highlighted the Council’s international engagement through reporting, treaty implementation, and regional and global partnerships.
