SCW Secretary-General chairs work meeting
Supreme Council of Women (SCW) Secretary-General Hala Al Ansari today chaired a work meeting in the presence of officials representing the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), Bahrain Development Bank and Amana is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company (Edamah).
During the meeting, Al Ansari was updated about work at the Riyadat Centre, as well as planned projects and development initiatives.
The meeting has also focused on completing the procedures for evaluating applications for business incubators and accelerators to join the center.
The session also discussed ways of optimising the center's work, promoting its new identity through social media channels and conventional media, and strengthening the balance between leasing categories such as commercial projects, incubated women entrepreneurs, owners of accelerators and economic incubators.
Al-Ansari noted the progress achieved by the center during the previous period, according to the monitoring of the executive team of the SCW General Secretariat during its field visit to facility, in addition to periodic reports.
She stressed the need to step up the pace of achievement and harnessing all the capabilities of the center as part of efforts to enhance Bahraini women's economic participation.
