SCW Secretary General receives eighth intake of PM Fellowship Programme
Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), Hala Al-Ansari, stressed the importance of the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Programme in building capabilities and honing leadership skills. She commended the outcome of the programme which reflects the ambitious vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to invest in the national cadres and engage them actively in the comprehensive development march led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Al-Ansari was speaking during a meeting at the SCW headquarters with the eighth intake of the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Programme. She welcomed them, lauding their excellence and enthusiasm. She noted that SCW, as a consultative body, is working with the legislative, executive and judicial branches to continue empowering Bahraini women and achieve the desired goals.
The eighth intake of the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Programme listened to a detailed briefing on the establishment of SCW and the organigram of its Secretariat General as well as the mechanisms of implementing the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women.
