HM King congratulated by HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), on the 24th anniversary of the National Action Charter referendum.
HRH Princess Sabeeka highlighted the significance of this national occasion as a source of pride for the people of Bahrain. HRH said the Charter was a milestone that paved the way for progress and prosperity, reflecting His Majesty the King’s vision for national development.
HRH Princess Sabeeka emphasised the SCW’s commitment to advancing His Majesty the King’s aspirations, ensuring Bahraini women play a key role in national development as active partners in shaping the future.
In response, His Majesty the King thanked HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim for her cable.
His Majesty the King highlighted the Charter’s importance in solidifying national values and principles embraced by the Bahraini people, which remain a guiding framework for national development.
His Majesty the King also noted the pivotal role of Bahraini women in the Charter’s drafting and implementation, which led to securing full citizenship rights and expanding political participation. His Majesty the King commended HRH Princess Sabeeka’s leadership of the SCW and her role in enhancing women’s contributions to national development.
