HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim congratulates Dr. Shaikha Hessa bint Khalid on being honoured as Arab Sport Personality of the Year
Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), sent a cable of congratulations to Dr. Shaikha Hessa bint Khalid Al Khalifa, member of SCW, member of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, Chairperson of the Equal Opportunities Committee in sports, on being honoured as the Arab Sports Personality of the Year. This recognition was awarded as part of the 2024 Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Women Sports Award, acknowledging her outstanding role in advancing women’s sports in the Arab world.
HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim commended Dr. Shaikha Hessa’s continuous and impactful efforts in promoting women’s sports and her dedicated contributions, which have significantly advanced the field and led to numerous achievements in regional and international platforms.
HRH affirmed that this recognition is a distinguished addition to Dr. Shaikha Hessa’s record of accomplishments, underscoring her commitment to representing Bahraini women with distinction across various platforms.
