HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim congratulates Shaikha Hessa bint Ali
Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), congratulated Shaikha Hessa bint Ali Al Khalifa, Member of Legal Affairs at the Bahrain Space Agency, on her appointment as the Second Vice-Chair of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) during its 68th session in Austria, making her the first Arab Muslim woman to hold this position.
HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim emphasised that this achievement reflects Bahrain’s national journey in advancing women's roles, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim commended this notable achievement in a strategic and specialised field, describing it as a proud reflection of the progress of Bahraini women and their effective contributions to decision-making at the global level.
