Shura Chairman affirms support for Bahraini women
Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh received Hala bint Mohammed Jaber Al Ansari, Secretary General of Supreme Council for Women (SCW), on the occasion of the establishment of the council.
The chairman confirmed that the legislative authority's support to Bahraini women and preserving their rights is aligned with the royal directives and aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Al Saleh said that the establishment of SCW, chaired by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King, is considered one of the distinguished national milestones, which opened paths for women to highlight their efforts and dedication in serving Bahrain in various fields.
He expressed his pride in the ongoing partnership between the Shura Council and SCW, noting his keenness to consolidate areas of cooperation to enhance the rights and the role of Bahraini women in the society.
