Bahrain Trust inaugurates Portrait of Bahraini Women art exhibition
Bahrain Trust inaugurated the “Portrait of Bahraini Women” art exhibition to celebrate Bahraini Women’s Day. The event was held under the patronage of Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Injaz Bahrain Chairperson, and Member of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW).

SCW celebrates the achievements of Bahraini women throughout the years
The Kingdom of Bahrain celebrates Bahraini Women’s Day on December 1, an annual national occasion launched in 2008 by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) under the slogan, "I Read.. Learned.. Participated".

Housing Ministry, SCW hold first joint committee meeting
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) held the first meeting of their joint committee, chaired by Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing, and Lulwa Saleh Al Awadhi, Acting Secretary General at SCW. The meeting focused on housing services for Bahraini women.

Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), sent a cable of congratulations to Dr. Shaikha Hessa bint Khalid Al Khalifa, member of SCW, member of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, Chairperson of the Equal Opportunities Committee in sports, on being honoured as the Arab Sports Personality of the Year. This recognition was awarded as part of the 2024 Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Women Sports Award, acknowledging her outstanding role in advancing women’s sports in the Arab world.
