Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), emphasised that the launch of the third edition of the Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Global Award for Women’s Empowerment reflects the Kingdom of Bahrain’s firm commitment to supporting international efforts aimed at strengthening the role of women as key partners in sustainable development.
Bahrain participates in 69th UN Commission on Status of Women
The Kingdom of Bahrain participated in the 69th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69), represented by Lulwa Saleh Al Awadhi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW). The session, held in New York, was chaired by Dr. Abdulaziz Al Wasel, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the UN.

Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), sent a cable of congratulations to Maram Abdul Majeed Al Qasimi on being honoured by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. Al Qasimi was awarded first place in the Cultural, Artistic, and Media Excellence category as part of the seventh edition of the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Programme for Excellence and Community Intelligence.

SCW, Social Development Ministry to open support offices for women across Bahrain
The Supreme Council for Women (SCW) has announced the opening of support offices for Bahraini women in social development centers across all four governorates of Bahrain. This initiative aims to enhance access to SCW's support services in line with the directives of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and SCW President.

The Supreme Council for Women (SCW) has released a new edition of "Bahraini Women in the Reign of HM King Hamad", a 208-page book documenting the progress of Bahraini women’s rights, status, and contributions under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The book traces the development of women's participation in public life, particularly in education, employment, healthcare, business, and social affairs, and highlights the legislative and institutional reforms that have strengthened their role in society.
