HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim congratulates Aysha Al Haram

Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), congratulated Aysha Al Haram on her appointment as co-chair of the newly established "SSPI-WISE East" regional group under the international Space & Satellite Professionals International (SSPI) initiative Women in Space Engagement (WISE), making her the first Arab woman to assume a senior leadership role within the organisationn.

SCW launch Women in Media Committee

In line with Decision (6) of 2025 issued by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), on forming the Women in Media Committee, Lulwa Al Awadhi, SCW Secretary-General, issued Decision (24) of 2025 naming its members. The Committee’s purpose is to highlight the successes and efforts of Bahraini women and to increase their visibility in the media inside and outside the Kingdom.

Bahrain participates in 69th UN Commission on Status of Women

The Kingdom of Bahrain participated in the 69th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69), represented by Lulwa Saleh Al Awadhi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW).
