The Kingdom of Bahrain celebrates Bahraini Women’s Day on December 1, an annual national occasion launched in 2008 by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) under the slogan, "I Read.. Learned.. Participated".
