Assigned by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al Balushi, SCW member, participated in the 2024 Eurasian Women’s Forum. Dr. Al Balushi engaged in several bilateral meetings and contributed to discussions and workshops at the forum, held under the chairmanship of Valentina Matviyenko, Chairwoman of the Federation Council of Russia, themed “Women for Strengthening Trust and Global Cooperation,” from September 18-20 in St. Petersburg, Russia.
SCW organises awareness programme on Protection Against Domestic Violence Law
The Supreme Council for Women (SCW), in collaboration with the Bahrain Medical Society, organized an awareness programme addressing " Protection Against Domestic Violence Law and Doctors' Legal Responsibilities". The aim was to raise awareness about the dangers of domestic violence, the necessary actions to take when it occurs, and the importance of the Domestic Violence Protection Law as a key part of Bahrain's advanced legislative framework. The programme also highlighted the legal and ethical responsibilities of doctors in reporting cases of domestic violence.

Committee for HRH Princess Sabeeka Award holds first meeting
The Committee for Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Award for the Advancement of Bahraini Women (2024-2026) held its first meeting, chaired by Lulwa Saleh Al Awadhi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), at the SCW headquarters.

HH Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa attends opening of military hospital school
Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Wife of His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Injaz Bahrain Chairperson, attended the opening of the Military Hospital School at the children’s ward and clinic of the hospital, which is part of a joint initiative between the Royal Medical Services and the Bahrain Trust Foundation (BTF).
